Quality Assurance

A Commitment to Quality, Built on Trust and Precision

At Winmate, quality is not just a standard — it is a discipline embedded in every stage of design, production, and delivery.

As a global leader in industrial computing and rugged electronics, Winmate has developed a comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) framework that ensures every product meets stringent global standards for performance, reliability, and safety.

Our quality philosophy is built upon prevention, precision, and continuous improvement.

By implementing ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IPC-A-610 standards, Winmate has created a fully integrated Total Quality Management (TQM) system that covers every aspect — from supplier qualification and materials inspection to production control, shipment verification, and environmental safety.

This framework enables our products to perform reliably across demanding sectors such as defense, marine, medical, transportation, and industrial automation.

Quality Management System (QMS) Certifications

Winmate’s Quality Management System (QMS) integrates global standards that ensure product quality, environmental sustainability, occupational safety, data security, and compliance for special applications such as medical and explosion-proof devices.

All certifications are audited and approved by international agencies such as SGS and TÜV Rheinland, guaranteeing consistent compliance and continual improvement.

These certifications are not only evidence of compliance — they represent Winmate’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence and customer trust.

Material Quality Control and Supplier Management

Supplier Evaluation and Qualification

Winmate’s Supplier Evaluation and Qualification System ensures that all materials and components comply with technical, environmental, and safety standards.

Suppliers are assessed based on process stability, quality systems, traceability, capacity, and delivery reliability.

Only qualified vendors are listed in the Approved Vendor List (AVL) and are continuously re-evaluated through performance reviews.

Supplier Quality Control and Audit

Qualified suppliers are subject to ongoing Supplier Quality Control (SQC) and periodic Supplier Audits.

Our QA engineers perform on-site and remote assessments covering documentation, calibration, ESD protection, and process control.

Any non-conformances trigger a Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plan that remains open until full resolution and verification.

Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

Before entering production, all materials undergo Incoming Quality Control in accordance with AQL sampling standards.

Electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic attributes are verified, along with RoHS and REACH compliance.

Inspection results are logged into the ERP system for full traceability and supplier performance tracking.

Quality Deviation Handling and Crisis Management

When a deviation occurs, Winmate implements a structured Crisis Management Process.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is conducted using 8D Reports, Fishbone Diagrams, and 5-Why analysis, with temporary containment and long-term preventive actions applied to prevent recurrence.

In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)

Design Changes and First Article Approval (FAA)

All design modifications follow the formal ECO/ECN process for approval and documentation.

Before mass production, First Article Approval (FAA) ensures that samples meet all revised mechanical and electrical specifications.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Each production line operates under a detailed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to maintain process uniformity and repeatability.

Process engineers monitor takt time, operator performance, and SPC trends to identify and mitigate variation early.

Regular Solder Paste and Optical Inspection (SPI/AOI)

For PCB assembly, Solder Paste Inspection (SPI) and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) are deployed at key checkpoints to detect defects such as insufficient solder, bridging, or component misalignment.

Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) Plans

Significant deviations trigger a documented CAPA process, including containment, root cause verification, corrective action, and preventive follow-up.

Each step is tracked within the QA system to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.

Fixture and Equipment Calibration

Winmate enforces a strict Fixture and Test Equipment Calibration Program.

All measurement tools, jigs, and instruments are labeled, logged, and calibrated according to an approved schedule.

Calibration data is recorded in a digital database, ensuring measurement integrity and compliance with ISO standards.

Any equipment found out of tolerance is immediately withdrawn from use and recalibrated or replaced to maintain data accuracy.

Outgoing Shipment Inspection and Quality Traceability

Final Outgoing Inspection (OQC)

Before shipment, every product undergoes comprehensive Outgoing Quality Control, including visual inspection, functionality, safety, and barcode verification.

Only products meeting all criteria receive shipping clearance and final QA release.

Shipment Quality Management and CAPA

If any deviation is detected during inspection or customer feedback, Winmate activates a Shipment CAPA Plan to identify root causes, execute corrective measures, and prevent reoccurrence.

Barcode Tracking System

Each product carries a unique barcode serial number linked to its full production history — including component lots, process data, and QA results — enabling total traceability for post-sale support and analysis.

Environmental and Facility Control

ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) Protection

All production areas are safeguarded with comprehensive ESD control systems.

Personnel wear anti-static garments and wrist straps, and floors and benches are grounded and monitored by real-time ESD sensors.

Routine ESD audits verify compliance and prevent latent component damage.

Temperature and Humidity Controlled Warehouse

All production areas are safeguarded with comprehensive ESD control systems.

Materials and finished goods are stored in climate-controlled warehouses to prevent oxidation, moisture absorption, and solderability degradation.

Environmental sensors monitor temperature and humidity continuously, maintaining optimal storage conditions.

5S Management System

Winmate practices 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) across all facilities.

This system promotes workplace discipline, cleanliness, and efficiency — ensuring safety, reducing errors, and enhancing productivity.

5S is not just a manufacturing method; it is part of Winmate’s corporate quality culture.

Continuous Improvement and Global Quality Standards

Winmate’s QA framework is a living system built on Kaizen and Six Sigma methodologies.

Through internal audits, management reviews, and cross-functional quality meetings, we continuously refine processes to enhance yield, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

By combining supplier control, in-process monitoring, shipment traceability, and certified QMS governance, Winmate delivers dependable quality and long-term value to customers worldwide.
